Emirates named as official partner for Dubai Expo2020

Emirates has been appointed as the official airline partner for Dubai Expo2020.

Under the terms of the partnership, Emirates will be a licensed ticket reseller for Dubai Expo2020, playing a “key role in bringing visitors to the event”, its organisers said on Sunday.

The partnership with Emirates is the highest of three tiers of partnerships that Dubai Expo2020 will be entering into, it added. The deals grants exclusive rights and benefits for Emirates and other businesses within the Emirates Group, including branding and marketing rights, the ability to promote group-wide events such as Youth Connect in the run-up to Expo 2020, and the opportunity to have a pavilion at the Expo.

The partnership was signed by Emirates chairman and CEO Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum and Reem Al Hashimy, UAE Minister of State for International Co-operation and Director-General of the Bureau for Dubai Expo2020.
