Emergency Departure Services

Structured, on-the-ground support to manage every aspect of your departure, efficiently, professionally and without disruption

Leaving a country requires the same level of coordination as arriving. Without structured oversight, lease closures, utility deregistrations, household logistics and administrative obligations can quickly become complex — creating financial exposure or unnecessary complications at an already demanding time.

EER Middle East’s Emergency Departure Service manages the practical, logistical and administrative requirements of your exit end-to-end. Whether you require full premium support with a dedicated departure manager, or standard coordination of essential services, our team oversees the process locally — so you can focus on what comes next.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between Standard and Premium Departure Support?

Standard covers the essential coordination of your departure — household goods, utility closures, property handover and administrative requirements. Premium adds a dedicated senior Departure Manager who acts as your single point of contact, proactively coordinating all providers and services on your behalf, with post-departure oversight included.

How much notice do you need to organise a departure?

We recommend engaging our team as early as possible — ideally four to six weeks before your intended departure date. However, we understand that circumstances can change quickly and are experienced in managing departures at short notice where required.

Can EER act on my behalf after I have left the country?

Yes. Through Power of Attorney arrangements where required, our team can continue to manage outstanding local matters, liaise with service providers and forward documentation after you have departed.

What does the Vacant Property Check include?

Our team carries out weekly visits to confirm the property is secure and free from obvious issues. We retain keys, serve as the main local point of contact and ensure any concerns are promptly identified and addressed.

Is this service available across all countries you operate in?

Emergency Departure Services are available across our regions. Specific service components may vary depending on local regulations and requirements — our team will advise on what applies in your country.
